Based on the well-known fairy-tale classic, Aladdin is an exciting story set in the Arabian city of Agrabah. The Sultan is looking for a royal groom for his beautiful daughter, Jasmine. Meanwhile, the Sultan's evill sorcerer, Jafar plans to marry Jasmine and take over the throne. A wonderful story of intense love, fiery passion, bold expression, fantasy, and tragedy. Both Aladdin and Jasmine remind us of the importance being who we are, to be true ourselves. We should not try to be someone else or to conform to what others perceive us to be. We should always be true to our core being and to who we are meant to be. To live our lives with truth and honesty to the fullest. Aladdin is a bold, savvy, lovable street urchin who meets Princess Jasmine, the beautiful daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. While visiting her exotic palace, Aladdin stumbles upon a magic oil lamp that unleashes a powerful larger-than-life genie. As Aladdin and the genie start to become friends, they must soon embark on a dangerous mission to stop the evil sorcerer Jafar from overthrowing young Jasmine's kingdom.
