Lucinda Gifford is the author and illustrator of many well-loved and award-winning books for kids. She works from her home studio in Melbourne and especially enjoys making books about dogs, cats, chickens, dogs, wolves and more dogs. Although she will happily pat a cat, Lucinda would not describe herself as a cat person. Like Valerie, Lucinda embraces adventure and loves to try new things. She does not like sausages.
